HORSES IN TRAINING

Twist Of Fatecatch

Ownership basis:            Free lease

Cost of 2% share:           £580 covering period to 31st October 2026

We have leased this six-year-old hurdler for the summer jumps season.

He is trained by Neil Mulholland in Bath, and Neil thinks that he will pick up prize money through the summer if he stays sound.  He enjoys summer ground and should be competitive off his current mark.

Twist Of Fatecatch won a maiden hurdle in 2025 and has been placed twice since.

He is leased, so there is no upfront cost.  Shares are therefore £580 for 2%, and this covers all costs and training fees to 31st October.  There are discounts for 5% and 10% shareholders, and flexible payment terms can be arranged to suit.

MEET THE TRAINER: NEIL MULHOLLAND

Irish born Neil Mulholland was brought up around racing as his father Brian both owned and bred horses. He started riding-out for a local trainer at 11 years of age, eventually becoming a jockey and riding over 100 winners during his career before turning to training in 2008.

Having started in Devon, Neil moved to his current base of Conkwell Lodge, near Limpley Stoke just outside Bath, in 2012. The facilities in the yard are excellent, and Neil is supported at Conkwell by a great team, plus his wife Becky and three sons, Patrick, Connor and Finn. Owners who come to visit their horses are assured of a warm welcome.

Whilst mainly National Hunt focused, Neil also has regular runners and winners on the flat, and he has seen regular increases in both his number of horses in training and the number of winners he sends out.
