BG Racing – Update 23-10-25
Much as I don’t like rain, it is all good in terms of progressing towards a debut for Don’t Call Me Sue.
We saw her at the shareholder stable visit last Saturday, and she worked well. It is hard not to be excited about her prospects right now!
It was a good group at Neil’s stables on Saturday, and we watched Don’t Call Me Sue come up the hill three times. She worked well. Neil Mulholland and Tony Charlton (his assistant trainer) were both very positive about her, and we can look forward to a racecourse gallop in the next couple of weeks and then a run in a NH flat race soon after that.
It is still too early to know when and where she will run, as it will depend on when Neil can get a racecourse gallop booked and then what races are available in the days that follow.
I do have limited shareholding available with 2% costing £780 and covering all costs to the end of April 2026.
The first foal of our former mare, Far Too Beautiful, headed to the yearling sales at Tattersalls recently. The filly was sired by former sprinter Harry Angel and sold for 13,500 guineas. I understand that she will be going to race in Italy, and it will be interesting to follow her progress.
As mentioned last time, we chatted with ITV Racing’s, Jason Weaver, for the October episode of Inside The Rails. Jason was a great guest, so if you have not listened yet, give it a go!

Not much to note since the last update.
Of Corse I Can won for the 2nd time in a row at Newton Abbot on Saturday for Neil Mulholland and on Monday, Michael Attwater had a huge priced winner when Lovely Jubly showed a real preference for softer ground and won at Bath
If you are interested in finding out more about racehorse ownership, then please get in touch, as I would be delighted to discuss things with you.
Standing order payments can be made to spread the cost of share purchases, and shareholders get regular email updates along with the chance to come to the stables with me as well as to the races. There are also shareholder social events during the year.
