BG Racing – Update 15-07-25
We enjoyed an excellent stable visit to Neil Mulholland’s yard last week with some shareholders, and I am down at Neil’s again on Saturday morning with another shareholder visit.
Our mare is doing well. She is back in from the field as Neil was concerned that the weather (and the impact that it has had on the grass) was not helping her, so he decided to bring her back in, and she is doing some light training.
We saw her do a gentle canter up the hill last week, and she seems in good order. She will have a full season over hurdles this winter, and I do have limited shareholding available with 2% costing £780 and covering all costs to the end of April 2026.
I circulated photos to shareholders from last week’s stable visit to Bath, and I am visiting again with another group on Saturday.
As you may be aware, I co-host the Inside The Rails podcast each month. This month, we chatted with owner and former BG Racing shareholder, David Gibbon.

Not many runners since my last update, with the ground proving very firm at this time of year. Neil Mulholland did get a winner on Tuesday, 8th July, when Earth King won at a nice price at Uttoxeter.
If you are interested in finding out more about racehorse ownership, then please get in touch as I would be delighted to discuss things with you.
Standing order payments can be made to spread the cost of share purchases and shareholders get regular email updates along with the chance to come to the stables with me as well as to the races. There are also shareholder social events during the year.
