BG Racing – Update 25-02-23
Not sure where the time is going right now. I always seem to have loads of things that need doing that day and getting around to the weekly stuff has been a struggle! I have also been heavily involved in organising the Racehorse Syndicates Association Raceday at Warwick which took place yesterday.
A second good run from Sajwaan at Lingfield last week and he looks sure to win races for us this year. We have already been racing three times with him and his prizemoney haul matches what he cost us! He is surely worth more than he was at the start of the year now, so I am holding the current share price for new shareholders to reflect his increased value.
I was down at Neil Mulholland’s stables on Friday 10th February where I saw Kate on the gallops and back at the yard.
She was in good spirits and Neil is really pleased with her.

Another good run from Sajwaan to finish 3rd at Lingfield last week. It is tough to win from the front there but he gave it a good go and was beaten just under a length again.
Everything went as planned except that maybe he was forced to kick for home several strides earlier than he wanted to, but jockey,William Carson, felt sure that Sajwaan would be winning soon.
There is a 6f race at Wolverhampton on Monday 6th March and another on Monday 13th March (both evening races). The 13th is probably slightly preferable as it is slightly lower handicap range and slightly more prizemoney, but we may well enter both if the race on the 6th looks attractive close to the entries deadline.
Sajwaan has increased his value again, so I have decided to hold the 1% share price at £325 to reflect the increased value but shorter period that people are now buying into. Costs include the share purchase (with rights to the same share of any future sale) along with all training fees to the end of 2023. Installment payments are fine and there are discounts for 5% & 10% purchases.

Neil Mulholland had a great day on Monday 13th February when up at Catterick, Tango Boy went clear after the last to record a nice win and at Plumpton, Crossing the Bar finished strongly to win nicely.
Neil had another “across the card” double this Thursday when both Inoui Machin at Doncaster and Great Snow at Ludlow recorded wins for the yard.
