BG Racing – Update 25-07-22

I hope you all had a good weekend and made it through last week without melting!

A quiet week for me and not so much to communicate this week with both horses having niggles.  I did pop up to see Far Too Beautiful though and was pleased to find her in very good spirits.

Below I have covered:
1 – Dynamic Kate
2 – Far Too Beautiful
3 – Inside The Rails
4 – Runners From Our Stables

If this update gets you interested in ownership, then I would love to hear from you.  Click here for details of shareholder benefits and information on how to get involved.

Dynamic Kate

We got the good news that Kate does not appear to have any long-term issues after her unseated rider at Worcester, but she was still a bit sore last week and with a 12-day break in the jumps action at the start of August, she is likely to be off the racecourse until the back end of August.

I do have shares of Kate available to purchase and these run for the period to 31st October 2022.

Far Too Beautiful

Far Too Beautiful was also in the wars and had a minor issue last week that resulted in several days without exercising.  There is no soft ground around at the moment and we would want to wait for that before entering her in any races, but she did seem a happy horse when I went to see her at the stables last week, so hopefully, this is just a short term problem for her.

I have shares available covering the period to 31st December 2022.  Please contact me via the contact page if you would like more information.

Inside The Rails

We are back recording tomorrow, this time interviewing Betfair founder and leading breeder, Andrew Black.

This episode is due out on 1st August and you can search for Inside The Rails on Google, Apple, Spotify or Amazon podcasts (or anywhere else you listen to podcasts) to listen to it or previous episodes.

Any recommendations of the podcast to anyone you know that might be interested would also be appreciated.

Runners From Our Stables

Peltwell unseated her rider at Cartmel on Saturday 16th making the long trip up from Neil Mulholland’s Bath yard all in vain, whilst Cremant was only able to finish 3rd on Sunday.

There were no runners from our yards on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with several meetings cancelled due to the heat.

On Thursday, Neil had mixed results at Worcester.  Mister Sweets and Glajou were unplaced but Trolley Boy recorded his 2nd win in two starts just getting up on the run-in.  Sevenofus was unable to land the win double, but he did run a nice race to finish 3rd.  For Michael Attwater, Nordic Glory and Street Parade ran well with the latter getting into the mix to finish 3rd.  Ajrad was unplaced later on the Sandown card and over at Yarmouth, Cabeza De Llave and Bear To Dream were unplaced.

Tempus Fugit, Crystal Times and Agent Saonois were all unplaced for Neil on Friday, but Viking Ruby ran a decent race to be third.  On Saturday, Minhaaj ran a decent race at Salibury for Michael, but was just behind the placed horses., whilst Cappananty Con ran well at Lingfield, plugging on gamely to finish 4th.

There were no Sunday runners from our yards.
