Weekly Update 14-02-22

Another good weekend of racing action, especially from a betting perspective for me!  We are closing in fast on Cheltenham and the Spring Festivals and that will also bring us closer to seeing our two fillies on the track.  I will be at both stables this week and have arranged shareholder visits to both our yards.

Below I will cover:
1 – Stable Visits and Social Events
2 – Dynamic Kate
3 – Far Too Beautiful
4 – Inside The Rails
5 – Runners From Our Stables

If this update gets you interested in ownership, then I would love to hear from you.  Click here for details of shareholder benefits and information on how to get involved.

Stable Visits and Social Events

We have shareholder visits to both Michael Attwater and Neil Mulholland’s yards in the next couple of weeks and on 25th February we have a group of shareholders going to Warwick Races.  I have also organised a shareholder’s Cheltenham Preview Zoom on the evening of Thursday 10th March 2022, where I will run through the big races on each day of the festival and run a tipping competition for the meeting.

This kind of things are all part of the experience of being a BG Racing shareholder and if they sound fun, then please consider purchasing a share of one of the horses and get involved!

Dynamic Kate

All is fine with Dynamic Kate and I will get some pictures of her this week for her shareholders.

I do have shares of Kate available to purchase and these run for the period to 31st October 2022.  They are priced at £310 for a 1% share with discounted rates for 5% and 10% purchases.

She has been in the first four in all four of her recent races and she will hopefully pick up where she left off when she gets back on the racecourse in the Spring.

Far Too Beautiful

Far Too Beautiful is progressing faster than expected and she seems in very good form.  She seems very well now she is back in training and I sent an update around to her shareholders with some photos last week.  She is on target to race at the start of the flat turf season when hopefully the ground will be ideal for her.  I will get more pictures this week when I am back at the yard.

I have shares available at a cost of £273 per 1% share covering the period to 31st December 2022.  Please contact me via the contact page if you would like more information.

Inside The Rails

Lee Mottershead from the Racing Post was our guest on Inside The Rails this month.  All episodes can be downloaded at https://podfollow.com/inside-the-rails.  If you can recommend the podcast to friends that may be interested, that would be really appreciated as well.

Runners From Our Stables

Last Monday, Neil Mulholland had four unplaced runners at Fontwell.  Mongol Emperor came closest finishing 4th but was followed by Mothill (7th), Magnificent Ben (9th) and Sevenofus (11th).  Breguet Boy was disappointing for Michael Attwater on Tuesday and was unplaced.

On Wednesday, Sainte Doctor was 2nd for Neil, but Kansas City Chief was unplaced.  His other runner, Be Easy ran a decent race at Kempton and was sixth at a big price.  For Michael, Mary of Modena battled well but was unplaced.  Savoy Brown made a similar move to his last race and battled on gamely.  The winner swept by on the outside but he was still 3rd edged out of 2nd by a small margin.

The close but no winner results carried on into Thursday.  Miss Jeanne Moon was 2nd for Neil at Huntingdon and at Doncaster, Canada Kid was unplaced before Icone Daubrelle made a decent debut but finished 2nd.  Runasimi River was last up and she was unplaced finishing just behind the placed horses.

After no Friday runners, Nordic Glory was 3rd for Michael on Saturday, pulling too hard early on in the race and on Sunday, Michael’s Ard Up plugged away but never really looked like being placed.

Here’s hoping some of those 2nds and 3rds turn into winners this week.
