After a massive mix up over running plans and entry most members of the ownership group were unable to attend this race meaning that a small owners group of Phil Boyle, his sister Cathy, Peter Leonard and Susie Pannikar were present at Worcester for the race.

The ground conditions were perfect and The Way You Dance looked in good order as he was saddled by Neil and stable lad Billy.  Noel Fehily was the jockey on this occasion and Neil suggested that we would be happy to finish 5th or 6th and that there was not need to give TWYD a hard race if he was not in contention.

Once the race was underway it was quickly clear that The Way You Dance was settling much better and not pulling the jockey and this resulted in several accurate jumps.  Noel let him find a position in rear and he traveled comfortably moving through the field on the home turn to get into sixth or seventh place following the leaders over the last three.

Noel took the opportunity to overtake a couple of tired runners on the way to the finish line to take fourth place in what was a very encouraging run.

Both Noel and Neil were very very pleased and Noel reported that he still has some improvement to come as he feels that his hurdling could get better with more experience.

With another race to be taken in quickly we are looking forward to seeing if The Way You Dance will be competitive once he gets a handicap mark.
