With me on holiday, a group of 5 were at Worcester representing BG Racing.  Peter & Deborah were joined by Gerald & Susie and Lawrence.

Ours was the last race and TWYD drifted to 9-1 from 6-1 in the morning which was not seen as a good sign.  Sean Corby was riding again and was instructed to repeat the tactics from Newton Abbott last time.

Sean executed his instructions to perfection.  Either The Way You Dance’s hurdling is improving for practice or he enjoyed the more upright fence style hurdles at Worcester as this was definitely his best jumping performance to date.  He was settled in 5^th throughout and came back on the bridle turning for home.  He made his worst jump of the race three out but looked to be coming through a gap two out when it closed on him.  Sean showed a cool head at this point when he reined TWYD back to give him a good sight of the hurdle rather than trying to force him through and he did find a gap going to the last and jumped it just off the leaders but showed a good turn of foot to come away by a length at the line.

It was another cracking ride by Sean who did not look at all out of place alongside the top jockeys.

The owners were presented with two bottles of champagne by the race sponsors and the win made the journey home much more enjoyable than it might have been.
